hi all, got here last night. good trip and that is saying a lot for ten hours with a cat!

still no need to take the "clon" but glad its with me. third straight night of un-assisted sleep for me - totally drug free!

the tenants left a nice garden behind loaded with beef steak tomatoes, squash, cukes and some other goodies! makes up for the dust bunnies under the beds and the un-reported water leak under the kitchen sink. smells musty because of mold under there but no permanent damage to the cabinets (thank god!) just needed a wipe down. hubby has to replace the faucet and related plumbing, but the leak wasn't the tenants fault - just not reporting it -  one of those things you have to deal with as a property owner <sigh>

by the way, what is it with young college grads these days? they can't clean a toaster oven!!! 2nd set of tenants in a row - no  damage, just a mess.

Hi Brz, that is so wonderful to hear that you have had three nights of "unassisted sleep!" The lack of sleep really magnifies the bad symptoms I am experiencing in this discontinuation ordeal. I think you and I are close in the time off the dope, I am in my 12th week and struggling.

The garden delights sound yummy, a positive to offset the other issues the tenants left behind;). What town is your property located in? I lived in Cullowhee, NC for a year back in 2000. A quaint college town that I loved...woulda, shoulda, coulda's why I didn't stay!!

Wishing you a peaceful, enjoyable stay...sounds like you prepared well in advance.

Take care and be well

"Stupid" pill moment! I can't even do simple math...Uurrgh...I am 14 weeks off, gotta add that extra two weeks!! I am not counting the days or marking the calendar like I was the first couple of months...just trying to get through 'one day at a time' or sometimes minutes at a time toward the prize of a better quality of life. I'm hoping the belief that I deserve that will also strengthen as more time passes...

thanks cym,

i am  having a little trouble getting to sleep tonight, but then, i tried to go to bed at 10:30, i've usually been going to bed at 12:30, so, uh, no duh. it was 2 hours earlier than normal! i'm getting ready to head back to bed, a little sleepier now. but no anxiety. just restless.

i jumped off the C about a month before you. it will be 18 weeks tomorrow off the C for me, today actually i guess, its after midnight

i know you have had a rough time and i am sorry to learn that you've had a set back due to wellbutrin. i took it back in the '90's and it helped to derail my career at the time. i couldn't speak in complete sentences, i would lose my train of thought. i could not remember "the right word" my memory was shot. i could not focus and was easily distracted. and i quit drinking coffee for no reason. just stopped. i love coffee. i quit wellbutrin and got my java jones back! there was no withdrawal for me. that was about the only upside to it

you said "just trying to get through 'one day at a time' or sometimes minutes at a time toward the prize of a better quality of life." that is a very healthy outlook and is what works for me. i have had so many ups and downs that i don't ever want to assume the future, just enjoy to the best of my ability what i can do with each day that i have.
