The Labyrinth And Discontinuation

The Labryinth is an ancient meditative tool whose therapeutic value is enjoying re-discovery around the world. The iconic Labryinth is in Chartres Cathedral in Chartres, France, and was installed in that gorgeous medieval cathedral around 1200 CE. The labyrinth in Grace Cathedral is modeled on the Chartres labyrinth (there are actually two labyrinths at Grace-- one inside and one outside).
A walk through the labryinth will calm your mind and soothe your spirit. I heartily recommend it. There are labyrinths all around the country.

Thank you thismoment, I needed that! I am going on day 5 of no Cymbalta and am having terrible heart palps. I got down to two beads a day for a week and then stopped. This road has been rough. Thank you for your support BTW, Are the heart palps and leg cramps normal at this point?

Hey good to hear from you lm3g. The heart palpitations and cramps can be handled with 100 mg of chelated magnesium three times a day. Your health food store should have it. DO NOT do magnesium oxide, mag chloride, or any of the salt forms. Only the chelated as it has far less issues and is easier on the stomach.

lovemy3girls, oh my, what a nice surprise! It's been ages since you've been here, welcome back!
Congratulations on the bead counting down, have you been "counting down" since you last posted in January?
I'm sorry you've been hit with the heart palpitations ... they are a relatively common discontinuation effect ... skipped beats, irregular beats, etc... I had them, for a couple of weeks or so, during my second or third month off ... but, I went cold turkey, didn't bead count ... so what I experienced likely doesn't correlate well with your experiences. I'll let our bead counters give you better advice.
A question ... were you stable and relatively symptom-free while at the 2 beads? If so, how about going back up to the 2 beads again, stabilizing, and then reducing just one?
Everyone who bead counts says that the lower the dose/fewer the beads, the harder it seems to be ...
Just hang in there, you are sooooo close to being free of the devil Cymbalta!!!

So nice to hear from you! Yes leg cramps and heart palpitations are well-reported. I see FH has a supplement to recommend-- sorry I don't know anything about supplements that boost except good humour, kisses on the forehead, and Irish Whisky!
Take care of yourself and your 3G!

The leg cramps are gone now, along with the RLS that I acquired while on the crap, after starting the chelated magnesium. I ordered mine off Amazon and reading endless reviews about the top rated ones. I'd be happy to share the brand I'm on if you want to PM me.
They have really worked wonders and helped me with sleep as the leg cramps intensified at night to the point I was dreading sleepless nights because of them.
Be well and keep up the fight! You will conquer this and feel better...that 'Time' thing is the most frustrating part, but it is true as I have minimal physical symptoms at 15 weeks off the poison. The mental aspect is my battle right now:(
