Wow, what a journey. I still can't believe that my doctor told me my withdrawal was an isolated case.

Yesterday, I felt the fog starting to lift, the trembling has minimized considerably. Yes folks, I think that I might be through the worst of this.

Relief, sweet relief. Honestly, I thought that the past few weeks I would REALLY lose my mind. My doctor told me that after a few days, I would just go back to feeling as I did before Cymbalta. Well, I guess he was off by about 38 days or so. This would be why doctors practice medicine, it is not an exact science.

To everyone else out there, hang in there. Each person is different and I really believe that there are some people who don't have such a trying time eliminating this from their system. My individual experience is not what you will have - my best wishes that everybody gets through this quickly with minimal effort.

Not back to 100%, but do I feel major relief. I even feel a little relaxed!!!

My doctor had me stop cold turkey after two weeks on 30 mg. I have read of others who stepped down more gradually and it does not seem to be as painful for them. If I had to go through this again, I think that possibly the method of dissolving each capsule and drinking a little less each week might have been a gentler way to go. I honestly can't say if that is helpful, as my doctor gave me different instructions.

Good day and good luck to all of you.

I am so glad to hear you are doing better. It has been 3 weeks off Cymbalta for me. Today was first day that I have got myself out of the house and spent time with family. I am going to try my hardest to keep a positive attitude and see what happens. Hopefully I can feel normal again and have the darkness lifted. I will pray for ALL of us to recover from this terrible nightmare.
