Fort knox

I assume this needs no further definition. Not sure where this will follow however!

Thanks for the Acorn update "other Mom". I would like to say that I am not surprised about the health service. Shocking all the same. And they think they have nature sussed out, yet they are stumped by an oak tree offspring. So glad that it all worked out well though. Can just picture him in the mirror with such elation!

Bless you both!

College Graduate

Hope you all had a good weekend. Would say it is getting cold over here in the UK, but I know that 'Hat can trump the weather card...

Still 6 degree Celsius is cold for us Brits!

Graduate school... a college for graduate students? Yep, I'm making things up!

"so... do people who take cymbalta get tinnitus or do tinnitus sufferers take cymbalta?"

https://www.ehealthm...balta/tinnitus/
105,030 people reported to have side effects when taking Cymbalta.
Among them, 1,972 people (1.88%) have Tinnitus

It is also well documented that tinnitus can develop while weaning off Cymbalta. I could find no research on treating tinnitus with Cymbalta but I did find several references warning physicians that the use of Cymbalta in patients with existing tinnitus may worsen the condition.

I've had tinnitus for many years, I don't remember when it started., well before starting the C.

smart alec

Actually I'm doing well with the last 2 beads, some nights I forget to take them so I just don't take it. I will get brain zaps but they only last a little while so I'm happy.

I can't sleep well past 4am anymore, I used to be about to get 12 hours a night. At 4am I'm still tired but I can't fall back to sleep.

I do have quite a bit of anxiety lately, I'll tell you soon what it's from.

-Kathy

Alec the Great

Alec the Great was a syndicated newspaper gag panel created by Edwina Dumm and featuring a dog character (as did her other comic strip, Cap Stubbs and Tippie). It ran from 1931 to 1969.

Kathy, I a, so proud of you. You have been so patient and strong. You are going to come out of this fine.

Great Feelings

Trying an air of optimism. Absolutely awful day, but I got through it. That's the focus.

Thanksgiving is passed

We had that on October the 8th.
But Thanksgiving is an everyday thing, minus the turkey!

Acorn is leaving at 1pm to see his father and mother in the UK.
He's bouncing up and down. He's almost 3 feet tall. Very handsome in his cowboy outfits. Thanks FH for the idea.

Jet is fueled, unless he decides to take the copter,
The pilot is ready and should pick up Acorn shortly. As he did with Max, he will stop where they have good hamburgers.

Acorn will have his dad laughing, Strat is going through withdrawal, he'll be happy to see his son. Arrival time around 8pm.

Passed over

(eg for favor, job promotion etc)

Awaiting Acorn's arrival any moment. 5 minutes behind, but I expect there was some duty free involved somewhere. Just got time to play with the words here. Good thing there is a nice big patch of grass in from of the apartment for his safe landing. Cookies and ice cream waiting - although a sugary treat, I don't think it will interrupt sleepage soon after.

Wait, I can see some flashing lights approaching.... Eeeep - gotta go!!!

Over here!!

Over here, you must see what's coming! Take out you binoculars, look, there is a man running down the street with a g string on. The body of a God, the perfect physical shape. Oh! He has a camisole and on it is marked F, sorry can't read the rest.

Down South

We have a crazy band of politicians over here. And unfortunately, it is the effects of Brexit and such that force people like Mankini man to do what he does. Chains, hairy chests and cans of Carling Black Label - a textbook Tuesday afternoon for most in the North of England my sweet...
