Kid Rock (singer)

Not kidding Liz! It was quite small - closer to a maggot, but it has hair on the back, so not quite sure what it is,

I could tell you a similar story from my days working at Burger King if you want :D

"It was quite small - closer to a maggot, but it has hair on the back, so not quite sure what it is,"

A maggot on testosterone therapy perhaps.

roll (with) it

Just for that - my burger king story. A customer requested a Chicken Royal WITHOUT mayonnaise. Minutes later she bought it back and I was adamant that I left out the mayo. Put it to one side - apologised - and made another.

Later analysis showed an off-white, yellowish substance over one end of the chicken patty. Odd... doesn't look like mayo.

Further inspection showed it to be a cyst on the chicken which had survived the broiling and had burst when the girl bit into the burger.

Again - no kidding!

isn't enough

DON"T READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU HAVE A WEEK STOMACH.

The Inuit eskimos eat maggots by the pounds each year. During the summer that hang a piece of skin, road kill, etc in a tree and put a pan below it to collect the maggots for food. They are high in protein. During the cold months they will bury meat in the snow and when the weather warms they will dig up the meat and eat the rotten meat and maggots together. True.

We'll assume our Liz'ster doesn't appreciate those anecdotes! Consider the topic changed! Have you heard of a Tibetan Terrier? That's a lovely little pooch I had not so long ago!

Yes, IUN, I have heard of that breed...as a matter of fact, I have a friend on FB who lives in
Tasmania and had one named Gizmo.  He died in his sleep at the age of 20!  Adorable little guy!

Far up

Looks like a lapsa, wrong spelling. He has a temperament like myself except for being energetic, that will be Scrat..or Fishinghat.

What a hard day, tried going down the Fentanyl, by 12mcg. Like a bad trip day and last night.
I want to !ower it till I feel the slightest pain, then I'll know what I really need

Fisherman, any knowledge how to do this? I usually take one patch of seventy five plus one patch of twelve plus one half patch of twelve. This last half patch was removed two weeks back.
Ah, I need a giant teddy bear! Oh, and I removed another half, four days back. I'm back to 87.
I'm on this since September.

Ok, now, big tap on the shoulder for London! Or LND thank God for prayers. If this happens again, I will notice you Liz to join with us for prayers for a member, if that's ok by you.

And, nothing else to say!

There puke. (for the stories)

I saw Kidd Rock in concert once. The only song I remember was him singing "I'm fucking 40". I wonder if that word will post?

And I didn't go purposely to see him, it was an all day concert in Orlando years ago... We (me, sister, sis in law and a friend) didn't make it all day. We are old farts.

Grace's story (2013 film - apparently)

Evening Kathy!! Glad you liked our little stories - and proud that Gail found mine the worst!! Ummmm - you swore!! :)

My tibetan terrier was the off white flavor and she would only eat whatever I was eating for dinner! She was adorable.

Go easy on the Fentanyl Gailage, I don't want you to go too far for it then to catch up. I'm sure you know, but there will be residues on reverses which may take a while to clear out, so please go slow...

Story telling

Yes dear Scrat, slow real slow. My goal is 75, only one patch of 75. So being at 87, I'll wait another ten days to go to 81.

Up late, slept most of the day to get rid of this doom and gloom feeling.

Now, un Beau dodo a tous! Thank you all for being there!

It's nice to have you here in our late night wordplay!

Glad you are taking things slow and that your sleep was successful in releasing the mood. More words to be spoke this evening with our mutual upstairs companions!

Truth tales

I will tell you some stories of things that happened when I was a waitress in the mid 1970s... Before health and safety became a bug thing... But when I get home and on my laptop... It's too hard typing a lot on this cheap tablet I have... Lol

deeply impeded

Gail

Because it has already been absorbed through the skin, fentanyl can continue to be effective for 13-24 hours after the patch is removed.

Half-life 8 to 9 hours.

Fentanyl users swiftly develop a tolerance to high doses, meaning that more of the drug is needed for users to achieve the desired effect.

Fentanyl reduces respiratory rate and can lead to upper respiratory infections like pneumonia.
Dosage not to exceed 100 mcg patches.
