I find boredom a great relief from anxiety and the feeling that I have to keep moving. They say for anxiety to slow down and take it easier and for depression to stay busy and find something to do that is interesting to you.

Also Hat, I am very proud to have just sold a copy of my book to one of your fine crew... a veteran of the US Marine Corps from Ohio... served in 50's and 60's.

Hey Raven - how's tricks??

*EDIT*

Just so there isn't any cultural confusion, us Brit's use this term to ask how things are in one's life... not anything else that may be inferred in the US that I was unaware of... :D

Enough is enough

Scrat, thank you. Yes, real quiet here lately. Have you started your natural remedies yet?

I have stopped paxil tapering, to tough. Let it be. I'm tapering slowly the fentanyl patches till I feel pain. Gabapentin is at 300, 3 times daily instead of 600, I'll leave it like that, that one was easy.

I've been loosing weight since beginning of July. I don't want to take it back. I want to go to heaven real slim!lol appetite is near zero, I need to force myself for a few bites. Nothing tastes good.

I finally have made peace with death. When I realized that everybody will have to pass there, it was like a ah ah moment. This is recent. I'm happy for that at last! Making peace with people was important also before I leave. It may not be 100% perfect, but I'm satisfied.

As for that morning butanxiety, I take lorazepam (Ativan)plus Paxil and 2 tylenols. Takes 30 minutes to calm down. The 30 minutes seems like 2 hours. I've had this for at least 10 years more often than not. It's like a night terror, and you know what I'm talking about!

Well, I guess it's time for bed. I got up around 3:30 am and I stayed up. Our friend London must have arrived at destination. Poor soul, he was real scared. Bad experience last year, the body doesn't forget, it's like PTSD. He had it real bad! The body is always there to remind you of negative situation. Lovage, Gailage.

Enough already

I am on the third day of my remedies. Things are still a bit up and down, but I am glad to say that I have had a good day today. It can take 2-3 weeks to start seeing benefits, and even then the rememdy will need tweaking to get it right for my system. As I said before, I have got nothing to loose. I really do not think the Citalopram is working - nor did it ever work. It was just because my system was used to it, and without it, it went nuts.

So which of your cocktail actually reduces your depression? I was hoping there was a pill for when we get that bad... just like valium is for anxiety.

You want to be slim for heaven!! LOL. Gailage, my sweet thing. You will not have your physical body when you go! You will look as you were, but younger, more radiant and composed purely of light and energy. There will be food if you want it, but we do not need nourishment back Home. Just love, peace and knowledge.

I am so glad you have made peace with it all. Death does not scare me, but being ill really scares me.

And perfection does not exist. Perfect is an absolute state by which none of us can be in while on earth! Except if there were a definition, you my dear would be the closest!!

Much lovage to you...

Here! Where?

Thanks for your nice words Scrat. If this all works out, will you tell us of what those remedies consist of?

There is a benzos in my cocktail, but since it no longer works perfectly, I need add ons. I find that Tylenol boosts the meds I'm taking. The best is the anti nausea med. So all that plus 4mg of Dilaudid. We take that for physical pain, but there is pain and that's in my head. Lovage, lots of lovage for you Westgate

Where upon

I will of course keep everyone informed with how the remedy goes. The ND doesn't actually tell her clients what is in the remedies so it reduces placebo effect when people look it up on the internet - I quite agree with her. But either way, the remedy is made specifically for me. We had over 90 minutes of talking about my medications, my mental health, past illnesses, family issues and so forth - and from that, the creates the remedy. So if it works, it would mean doing the same.

So is your current cocktail working OK for you at the moment?

And what is Westgate??

Lovage!!

Questioning life

Yes, it works for five or six hours then we do it all over again.

So, basically, you don't know what meds they are? Maybe best like that. Lovage.

Westgate? Error in spelling, probably meant Scrattage.

Glad your current cocktail is working - and no, do not know what I have in my little white pills!

Very strange that you should have typed Westgate as this word has quite a strong significance to me...

learned words

The posting issue seems to have sorted itself out - or at least this end it does.

Very fragile today guys. Both the wife and myself went to therapy assessment yesterday. I had to sit in with the wife due to her anxiety, then had to do over an hour talking about my own issues. Then had issue with work client around midnight which sent my stress levels through the roof. In a bit of a state today.

Hope everyone else is doing well.. or at least better!
