Okay so this one is super personal but I figured I'd put it out there for anyone that may be having something similar. You know how we all get zaps. Even ones in select parts of our body. Well, I'm having, erm, personal ones. It's waking me up and is somewhere between starting labor and an orgasm. It's intense. And it wakes me up. It's only happened 3 times while in the proccess of ctmbalta but man is 3 times enough thus far.

Nicole, Good morning.

I understand. A small percentage of people go through this, usually after Cymbalta withdrawal is complete. The intense part you are experiencing usually lasts 4 or 5 days followed by a dramatic drop in all sexual functions. These functions usually slowly return over the next 2 months but can be permanent. This condition is called pssd. I will try to attach some info on it. In case you are curious,  I also suffer from this.

Hi Nicole,

I am so sorry to hear about these personal zaps. I have a question for you. During your Cymbalta withdrawal/usage, did you also experience brain zaps? If so, did this type of zap seem to subside before these "personal" zaps started? I have been off Cymbalta for a week now with harsh brain zaps, and I'm pretty sure I had a personal zap in the middle of the night last night. It woke me up, but I didn't think much of it. Until now anyways.
