My system is still so sensitive that any small change affects me.

Withdrawal caused insomnia and myoclonic jerks (jerking back awake when I fall asleep). If I have any stress before bedtime, even if it's just moderate activity, like tidying up around the house, it can cause the jerks to still happen.

If I try a new medication (for instance, a different OTC allergy med) I get sweaty and shaky.

I tried giving up wheat, but I got, again, sweaty and shaky. I found out that some people get gluten withdrawals. I went back to eating wheat and the symptoms went away gradually (took about a week).

Greetings Ramona,

I can personally speak for stress doing the strangest things, so with withdrawals I'm sure the stress can do some of those things. I too have the head jerks when I try to lay down and do to sleep.

As for the gluten withdrawals, that's a new one for me.

Let me know if you find anything more on this.

Blessed Be,

Raven
