Hi,

I'm down 1/3 of my taper, i.e., 60 beads down from 180 average in a generic (Citron Pharma) 30 mg. capsule. Yesterday, I felt really, really bad with extreme fatigue. Other w/d symptoms I have experienced are insomnia and sweats. I am one of those people who is very sensitive to medications.

The holidays are coming up. My husband, my most trusted support, will be traveling a lot. Also, I don't want to be sick during the holidays.

My question is: Should I ask my doc to prescribe me the 20 mg. capsule and just hold until the holidays are over and my husband will be finished traveling? Then start tapering again in the new year?

I'm staying at -60 beads until I figure out what to do.

Thank you, guys! I appreciate your opinion.

Just stay at your current dose Macadamia. Let yourself have a break and when the holidays are over you can continuing weaning. Giving your body a chance to recover will make things easier in the long run.

Thanks. Does it make sense to have my doc prescribe the 20 mg. capsule rather than counting out 60 beads every day until January?

Fellow traveler,

Hi again Macadamia,

Of course. But, but and but, make sure that it is the SAME generic. If not, continue to bead count. It is crucial that it be the same generic. That goes for most meds. Specially those having to do on our tired brain!
