Hello- I hope some of you can give me some hope.
 

I'm on day 30 cold-turkey off of 60mg. I am 19 years old and took Cymbalta for just under a year before stopping.

I'm experiencing terrible memory loss, insomnia, bodily aching, depression and severe tinnitus (at about 6500hz) in my right ear.
 

I can live with everything but the tinnitus. Seriously considering offing myself over it.
 

Does anyone know whether it will ever go away?
 

I have never experienced such acute suffering in my life.

Well first of all welcome to the forum.

 

Cold turkey is NOT recommended y the FDA and the manufacturer as it can lead to suicide, suicidal thoughts, seizures and other severe conditions. As far as the tinnitus is concerned, many of our members have had that and it usually fades away over a 2 to 4 month period but some have been left with residual tinnitus for as long as 2 years. Sorry about the bad news but there is plenty of bad news associated with coming off this drug.
