I have an autoimmune disease and with the symptoms cymbalta was prescribed. It was great to find relief. I had brain flashed already, before taking cymbalta. No one could tell me what these were. I also have other nerve issues that the Cymbalta was ordered for. The cymbalta helped. I don't take medication or her than my naturthroid. I am a naturalist so if I can get a natural way I choose it. I ran out of my cymbalta on a Friday and did not have refills, my doctor was out and no one was available to call my order in. Now it is Monday, the office refused to tell the doctor I was out until the office was done for the day. Needless to say I am not feeling well. The brain shocks are making me crazy, the pain in my feet and legs are horrible. Everything is extra loud and I am having a migraine, something that I don't have when taking cymbalta. I don't know why I had these symptoms before cymbalta and they stopped with it. But, as soon as the Cymbalta gets out of my system I am in bad shape, the spasms are worse, the brain shocks are worse. I don't know if I want to get off of Cymbalta.

Welcome Angelnures.

No one can answer that question but you. I do feel very comfortable saying that I am sure that much of what you are feeling is from Cymbalta withdrawal.

I don't understand why you couldn't get an emergency partial fill on your Cymbalta. I assume you are in the U.S. and the law allows the pharmacy to give up to a 7 days fill of a standard prescription that you have been taking while you wait for a new script from your dr. I do hope you are back on the Cymbalta because the FDA warns against going cold turkey. It can be very bad. If you decide to stop the Cymbalta let us know we will be glad to help.
