I just wanted to check in to say that I am officially 8 weeks free of this evil drug!  Although I still have some minor dizziness in the mornings, all other withdrawal symptoms have finally gone away!  I just want to say Thank You to everyone on this forum.  Without your wisdom, advice and support, I seriously don't know if I would have made it through this ordeal!

For those still going through it...it WILL get better (although it may not seem like it right now).  As many have said, "Slow and Steady" wins the race!!   It does take time and patience, but you will get there!!

It feels wonderful having my life back!  Again, thank you ALL!!

Hello Jessica,

That is wonderful. You are one that succeeded quite rapidly to feel good only after 8 weeks. So it can happen! Thank you so much for updating, this is much appreciated and it gives hope to others. Again, thanks Jessica!

Honestly, I think it is because I went EXTREMELY slow at the end.  It took me 10 weeks to go from 10 beads to none.  If I had pushed that, it probably would have taken longer and been worse.  It was worth it to go slow!

That is an interesting comment Jessica. I had often wondered about that but no members have ever tried that approach so I had no history to go by. Thanks for the info.

Well I'm envious of you Jessica.  It's encouraging to hear that people do recover.

I tapered very slowly as well, taking approximately 15 weeks to taper off 15 beads, but it doesn't seem to have made a difference for me.  I've been completely off for 2 months and I'm still suffering from severe depression and tearfulness on most days, with a few decent days scattered in there.  I just wish I could feel good again, at peace and comfortable in my own skin.  And it would be nice to have a day where I'm not completely preoccupied with how lousy I feel.

Best wishes for a healthy life!

Well blanam, a good day here and there is the first sign of recovery. You should find them slowly getting more frequent as time goes on.
