Yep.  I am using ginger and Dramamine.

This is such a strange process.  The minute I think that things are turning for the worse and that the whole nightmare is starting, I wake up the next day and feel better.

I think that with each drop it was 2-3 day of mild symptoms that resolved by the next drop.

That's not bad. Just don't get impatient and remember to slow way down at the end.

Hi there.

So this week, the drop from 5mg to 2.5mg,  the nausea and vertigo is lasting longer.  Ginger and dramamine does help though. I am thinking I should up the Lexapro to 15mg or 20mg and bead count the last 13 beads.

Does bead counting mean that each day I take out 1 more bead?  So if all goes well I would be at zero after 13 days?

Thanks.

Yes, and if things start getting tough you can just hold for a few days or even go back up a bead if necessary.

Phew I feel much better on the 15mg Lexapro.  Geez you weren't kidding when you said the last few beads are the hardest.  My son is graduating this weekend so I think I may hold on the taper until next week.

A good idea. Don't need to add more excitement or stress.

Last night was the first night with no Cymbalta. I am very glad that I bead counted the last 2.5 mg. It was quite the process but I am feeling very happy to have it behind me.  I am in no hurry to taper off the Lexapro so I will be taking it nice and slow.

Thank you so much for your support and guidance.

That is great Juli and don't be a stranger. You have been a big help on this site. When it comes time to taper the Lexapro please let us know your method and how it goes. That is how we learn.

Congratulations and God Bless.

Hi there!  Just an update on where I am at.  I reduced the Lexapro from 15mg to 12.5mg with no issues.  I plan to reduce to 10mg in a few weeks.  I'll let you know how it goes :)
