Feeling very sluggish today. Was feeling weird last night too. Started weaning off 1 week ago from 120mg. (60mg twice a day) was just takung beads from my night time pill but was advised to take beads from each pill. Was up to -8 beads. Now im starting today -3 beads from each 60mg pill. So -6 total. Hopefully that will help alittle.
Was also wondering if taking Mens One a Day multivitamin along with 1000mg of Omega3 is good for withdrawal symptoms. I also take claritin for allergies everyday. Any advice/suggestions?

Thank you.

I can not stress how much problems we have had on this site with vitamins. Vitamin toxicity, allergies and side effects. Over 60,000 people go to the ER each year due to reactions to vitamins.

I would recommend 2000 mg of Omega 3 per day. It need to be high in EPA and DHA and little to none ALA (those are the 3 types o Omega 3). Also be sure and get a brand that is mercury free.

Many have found that pseudoephedrine (one of he active ingredients in Claritin) very helpful with withdrawal symptoms. There is a summary of all the vitamins/supplements that members have taken in "and the answer to your question is..." in the Medical Support section.

There are risks with multivitamins and also potential benefits. I know a few members have went in and had a vitamin/mineral blood sample taken to determine if they have any deficiencies but some times the results are misleading as they are influenced by your last meal. You should fast for a couple hours before taking the blood test. Also, many insurance companies will  not cover the test. The decision is yours to make. I would suggest starting up slowly just to be safe.

Yea. So today i felt absolutely horrible. Woke up with a bad headache and had some pain in my stomach. Also had a weird citrus taste in my mouth all day. Im not gonna take the multivitamin. Could have been from that, not sure. But im starting over with the taper. Im gonna do -1 bead from each 60mg Cymbalta and give it a week before reducing anymore bc i felt like total crap last night as well as today.

I also have had blood tests every 6 months for the past 4 or 5 years. Everything was good. I keep getting checked bc i go though bouts of extreme fatigue and im always tired. This is one of the reasons i am coming down or completely off the cymbalta. Thinking maybe it is part or all of the cause for my fatigue

Really? Yea I know people say it gives them alot of energy. But i know everyone is different. Hoping i can get off. Ive been diagnosed with clinulical depression since 14. Cymbalta has been the only antidepressant that has ever helped but ive done years of therapy and have tried in the past to wean off, unsuccessfully. If i can come off and be ok it would be great but im just going to take it slow and see how it goes.
