If I can ever get to my primary Doc, I need labs done. But we are about to lose our insurance
I'm so sorry Raven, can you go with COBRA for the time being?

COBRA is too expensive for us.
I'm so sorry that you have to go without insurance. I dropped my COBRA too because the price increased from $500 to $1200 a month, and that was for just me... no dependents. I picked up a cheap plan at $600 (LOL) that doesn't cover much. I went to the p-doc last month and the appointment was not covered at all. If I still had the $1200 plan, it would have paid all but $50 (my co-pay) but because this plan didn't cover the visit, I had to pay full price -- they charged me $110. So it doesn't make sense to pay $1200 a month to save $60 on an appointment. I just hope nothing happens to me before I can go on Medicare in a couple of years.
