I think I am going to need some support for anxiety weaning off this horrible drug and wondered if I could take Ashwaganda to help with anxiety. I would appreciate anyone's advice.
I am taking CBD oil which is helping a bit but I feel I need something else too. Thanks!

Morning Polly,
Ashwagandha is fine during withdrawal, but we suggest you go for the finest version available which is the KSM-66. A little more expensive, but at least if it doesn't work, you know that no other version will.
Bear in mind that most get a tolerance with the stuff, so you would need to take a break of a few days each month - if you need it that long. Start with a dose of 500mg and if that doesn't cut it, then it is safe to go up in 500mg increments until the 2000mg level. After that, it just won't happen, so call it quits there.
If it works, you should feel your muscles become relaxed - kind of like a nice drunk at high levels!! And although your thoughts may still be there, that you no longer really mind that they are there is that makes sense...

If things remain as they are (or improve) over the next 48 hours, this is a good sign. This is stable. If things still fluctuate, or get worse (which I hope they don't), then you need to hang on.
In the first case, you can start dropping by a bead again if you feel ready, but there is no harm holding out a bit longer if you want a withdrawal "pit stop".
