Trying to get off of this poisonous drug. Need support and help!Down from 120mg to 7mg.
Am currently taking 18 beads 2x per day. A split dose method. 4 am and 4 pm. Pausing to stabilize.

Oh my gosh, is this something anyone else has dealt with? I have paused my decrrases for the past two weeks and about 20 minutes ago i started feeling a dizziness of sorts feeling like I am falling backwards in space. I am pausing my decreases until after the new year as this time of year is historically very emotional. I am on .02 mg (20 beads) 2x per day ( every 12 hours. )HELP!!!!!

Hi Hrk

These are common symptoms. Those last 10 mg or so can be devastating. It will pass, it really will pass. I am glad you are holding steady until next year. This will give your body a chance to heal some.

Oh I cannot thank you enough for responding. Nobody knows how insane this is but us Cymbalta users. Really, thank you for supporting me through this. I feel maybe a little better after a night's sleep. My mind is racing quite often and I am open to any strategy that has helped anyone listening. I deep breathe, meditate and distract. Journaling helps a little too. Thx again!!!

Sorry Hrk,

I somehow missed this, but Hat obviously picked it up. I also think you are doing the right thing by waiting. Some of what happens to us during these times begs belief. But knowing that even the pharma's do not fully understand their own drugs tells you exactly what you need to know! We are all just white mice to them...

Yes - have a good read of the eBook - plenty of information in there that will help - and you know where we are if you need more help.. anytime.

IUN

Thank you IUN. TRULY. This is really on another level. I cannot do things I want to do because my senses are so overwhelmed so easily. I remain totally optimistic of a full recovery in time. Feeling sad about missing out on things and others not understanding. Relationships suffering. But my faith remains, and God never fails me. And I have a decent support network. You all being a bright part of it. Hope you are well.

You can never go wrong with a good support network and a strong faith.

Don't let your thoughts cloud your understanding of the real you. Thinking is a pseudo sense of self at best. You start adding these chemicals in and it really throws you off the mark.

Hang in the my friend. You are strong.
