to help me through this time

Posted 01 May 2020 - 02:34 AM

I have been an ardent visitor to this site since February, and only just managed to figure out how to post ( im old and easily confused  )
I would firstly like to say I am deeply impressed by the site and it's regular posters FH and IUN for example , their knowledge and dedication in helping so many

trying to come off Cymbalta can only be applauded and admired, thank you .

I have read many of the posts and feel obliged to say well done to you all for taking the courage and strength to say " NO I will not carry on..... I WILL take my

path in the way I want to , I will stop using this dreadful drug and I WILL  come through this "

I was totally unaware of the Cymbalta withdrawal when I stopped taking it in December 2019 after being on it for 10 years , deciding to stop when my beautiful mother

passed away and I could not even shed a tear for her , Cymbalta I now realised had made me a robot , cold and un feeling for SO long.....it was my time to stand up

and stop , my time to take the path I choose , like so many on here , for whatever reason you decided to stop taking Cymbalta is WELL DONE to us ALL.

In my withdrawal journey I have had a lot of the usual side effects and like others may tell you they WILL pass, you have the strength to stop so you have the strength to persist

and whilst today or tomorrow the pain is there , you can be assured in time it will pass. Remain strong and dedicated , listen to the advice given on this site , download the

E book and inform yourselves, become a site supporter so that you can help others that are looking for that extra bit of strength to rid themselves of this terrible drug.

MY HAT IS OFF TO US ALL

My sincere thanks as well for your taking the time to post such lovely words.

Much like Hat, I am here because of how wonderful I was welcomed when I first joined, and that I feel it is my calling to help all of those going through the same - and worse in some cases. Regardless of the fact that I am on my road to recovery, I would still be very much lost without the forum, so it is lovely when I can see it appreciated from someone like yourself who has been an observer in the background.

Please let us know if we can be of any help to you - for any reason - withdrawal or otherwise.

God Bless

Absolutely. It never goes unappreciated. Everything that we know is largely as a result of people like you telling us what is going on, trying different things, reporting back etc.

Many thanks.
