I am reallly trying to get off Cymbalta, and not having, well I am having nightmares even with the decreased does, and clanging in my head.

I just found this site, and I really need help, I can't do this, I fear I willl never get off this brutal medication.

I don't believe anything good comes from this drug. Well some say it works!??

Me neither. I have felt so much more bad things (side effects, now withdrawal) than good ones (little help on muscle/joint pains).

Is it totally stupid idea if I start a new thread about my experiences in detail? At this moment, I barely know that I did quit Cymbalta few weeks ago and nasty things are going on. I've written some notes during the time, but no idea what to do with them, share them here or with my doc or both... :)

nobalta,
No it's not a stupid idea to start a new thread about your experiences, PLEASE DO!
If you feel comfortable enough to share the thing you have jotted down with us,
please do that too! and with your doctor. I just hope you have one that will listen
to what your saying, and believe you.

That's been the big problem so many of us have found out is that the doc's not
know anything about Cymbalta, the side effectts or the withdrawls, and especially
nothing about getting a person off this crap.

We are all here for you, your safe here.

Debbie
