Has anyone had a huge increase in appetite since stopping Cymbalta? Cymbalta completely squashed my appetite for about 4 months? Now that I've stopped, I am hungry all the time! I wonder if I might be making up for all the food I missed! LOL!

WOW...Strange how everyone has different reactions to this drug. I experienced the exact opposite. I found that I was eating non-stop while on this drug. Now that I've been off it for 6 weeks, my appetite has diminished to the point where I am eating only at meal times and a normal and healthy portion.

missmojo,
I am totally like you. This drug put 30 pounds on me, and now I am
finally getting down to my normal size.
I was never hungry when I was on it for the 3 yrs @ 60 mg, it is just
due to the drug. Also I am never hungry now that I am going through
withdrawls. Every so often I get a hunger pang in my stomach, but
I can't eat much at all. This is all about metabolism, the weight gain
for most, on these kinds of meds, and MAO"s too.
I have had patients who have blown up like ballons in just a few weeks
of being put on certain a/d's and that is one of the most awful side
effects that they complain about, and hair loss.
