Hi, I have been off of cymbalta now for 1 week (after cutting to 52 balls) my doctor stopped it and put me on Celexa instead. I had been on Celexa before and it really worked good. Anyway, I can feel ok for a day and then the next day I'm a wreck! Crying, panic, achie, nauseous, tightness in my chest,no energy, tired, do you think this is from cutting the cymbalta or starting the Celexa? I don't remember any of this starting the Celexa before. I know it takes awhile for the Celexa to start working so I'm trying to be patient. it's been just a week.
thanks granny

Hi Granny

It's probably a combination of both. Because Cymbalta has chemically altered your brain function a certain way, it's unlikely that Celexa will work the same way as it did before. At least in the beginning. My guess is that it's more Cymbalta wdl than anything else. Seeing as you are already on Celexa, you will probably have to ride it out.

Good luck
Junior
