I'm sorry about your situation. I encourage you to get back on the medication somehow and wean off slowly. I really encourage you to contact your doctor and either:
1. Ask your doctor to give you some free samples; my understanding is that Eli-Lilly is more than happy to supply them if needed;
2. Check out the Eli-Lilly website for their sponsored medication program;
3. There's also some talk show host who's organised some sponsorship for people who can't afford their medications.
4. Do the slow weaning process recommended by folks on this website.

- I am currently on Cymbalta after many years of other drugs including Zoloft, Wellbutrin and Effexor. I had a terrible experience coming off of Effexor that resulted only in my going back on, then changing to Cymbalta. I feel, at this point, that the drugs are causing as many problems as the initial depression did, and am looking at the possibility of coming off but am living this year in rural Italy and need some real support in considering this possibility and its consequences.
