I think I will monitor myself over the weekend and then speak to my doctor. He has been really great so far and the drop from 20mg to nothing was his idea. He said that Cymbalta at 20mg is barely above a placebo so we'll see. I am a very impulsive person though and the kind of girl who wants things and wants them now! So basically the fact that I am not 100% cured and feeling amazing after 4 days is definitely upsetting me but I am really trying to be patient, ya know. Thanks so much for your thoughts and kind words.

Hi, it is common for people to feel the worst of wdl effects from day 4-6 onwards so that is obviously what is affecting your mood.
As far as drs knowledge of a/d withdrawal - as good as your dr is (mine is great), it seems that very few fully understand what people go through. Studies, funded by drug companies, just don't run for long enough for the true wdl effects to show up. So... please be aware of that and be guided by your body. Also, if it is suggested that you do the 'every other day' thing, please don't! It never works. It is better to stay on a stable dose for while before decreasing.
Good luck
Junior
