i think going from 120mg to 60mg was way to much! other than feeling like i am going to die, i cant stand input or output from my brain!!! and i am so sick to my stomach!!!

    weaning from cymbalta

That was a 50% drop. No wonder you're sick. Don't expect your doc to know what to do. Weaning slowly is the only way to withdrawal without illness. I'm sorry you don't feel good.

Read more posts here. Lots of discussion on how to wean.

Its hard to say because everyone is different in their responce to weaning. It could be a few days to a few weeks. Going back up to 120 probably isnt nessesary but I would not stay at 60. Maybe eyeball it and take out 10 to 20 percent of the 120 and see how that makes you feel for a few days. Then reduce after you feel better. It could take longer to stabilize. Read other posts to see what examples have worked for otherts and see where you seem to fit in. Most people arent at a 120 dose. More are at 60 or some at 90. Going slowly will be much more gentle to your system and keep you sane in the process.
