I have been on Cymbalta for 6 years and was abruptly taken off of the drug. I'm currently going through ECT treatment for my depression because the medications I've taken have been ineffective. Why wasn't I told by the doctor about these withdrawal symptoms?! I was on 60 mg and then dropped down to 30 mg for two days and then off completely per his instructions. Too fast! I am unable to function with these withdrawal symptoms - I feel like I'm intoxicated, my arms, legs, and head feel twice as heavy as they are, my body moves like I've had too much to drink, I'm confused, my brain feels like it belongs to another body. How long do these symptoms last? I'm 42 years old and in good health otherwise.
