I'm not sure if this will help anyone else, but what is making all the difference for me is taking 5-HTP and Super B Complex in the morning and at night. My first day of stepping from 30 mg to 15mg was terrible (constant crying, brain zaps, exhaustion, etc.) I remembered reading one poster use of 5HTP and Super B Complex so I took it and started feeling better within 30 minutes. I decided to take them in the morning and again at night to help as I step down from Cymbalta and my husband said he can't tell the difference in my mood. No brain zaps, no crying, etc. I'm hoping this will continue as I step down again to 7.5mg tomorrow and then to 0mg.
Would love to hear if this plan has worked for you as you step down and after you quit all together.
