I was diagnosed with arthritis in my back 4 yrs ago and when I have a flair up I take vicodin usually 2 pills and a good nights sleep helps tremendously. For the first time in 20 years, I can say my back is not sore. About 2 months ago I switched from a generic zoloft to Cymbalta, for anxiety, it helped, and I had no side effects. For about a week, my back is killing me. I have done nothing to hurt or aggravate it, now I'm thinking maybe it's a side effect of the cymbalta. I have taken 2 Percocets and a vicoden, and it barely touches the pain. My chiropractor seems frustrated that his adjustments aren't making progress. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I have been very sensitive to 'brain' type meds in the past.
