I also needed temperary relief of my stress through the holidays. I was on for about 4 months also, I had no idea and my dr never told me how horrible it was going to be coming off this drug. I did take Zoloft in the past but coming off was not so intence. I actually had my dr take my blood pressure today because I thought I was having a stroke. I didnt realize at first that i was withdrawling from cymbalta because I felt fine for two days after I had stopped. My symptoms are so bad, my husband had to carry me to bed, I was sweating from head to toe and shaking, I have joint pain, im hearing the blood rushing in my ears, my mouth goes numb if I talk to fast, Im slering my words, I have almost a constnat head rush, a urphoric feeling like after you had jogged for a mile, I feel stoned, my eyes are lazy and tired, I get a shock like an adrenaline rush, l ike im on a ride that makes you dizzy, i have mini fainting spells, i cant turn or look at something fast without feeling like my body needs to catch up also i have food bindges and cravings. I really wish I went on this sight sooner becaseu I was so scared this was going to last forever. my dr told me it should last 10 days, i wish he would have told me sooner. I hope this helps.
