Welcome Hnielsen
Day 2 off from what dose? It really does make a difference.
Any dose higher than 30mg is unsafe to abruptly stop. This drug needs to be tapered off and there is lots of information on the site but if you need help I would be glad to get the page links for you.
Omega 3 1000mg to 3000mg daily
Vitamin B complex, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc
OR a high potency vitamin/mineral supplement
L-theanine (suntheanine) 200mg up to 3 times a day
That's the basics
If you have any questions please ask away
Take care of you

I am on my 2nd cymbalt-less day, and i am having a massive throbbing headache... I was on 60mg for 6months -> 90mg for 6months -> 60mg for 6months, 30mg for 1month (last two weeks i was taking pills on alternate days).
Just looking at the pages and pages of side effects is scary and concerning - something i am not looking forward to at all.
Hnielson0905, how are you doing now? Is it getting better?
Lady2882Nancy, thanks so much for summarising the useful supplements in a nice concise fashion There is an overwhelming amount of information to go through before getting to the things you can do to ease the withdrawal symptoms.

hi, well done on being Cymbalta-less:) don't be overwhelmed by the withdrawal effects. you don't necessarily get them all, you might not even have that many, it's a very individual thing. one person may suffer dizziness and zaps most, another might be more troubled by something else like nausea. what I found was, once the first few days were over, effects came in rotation more. so one day might be a bad zap day, the next a nightmares day, the next a fairly ok one- then back to the first one. it'll become more predictable and manageable for you. the supplements, hydration, any additional help via something to help the nausea/dizziness can make it easier. try and arrange your diary so you don't have to struggle on regardless too much if that's possible. and let those close to you know what you are going through, so they can support you. even if it's just to be a bit extra gentle.
