Cymbalta withdrawal symptoms others have and support for myself and help others

Posted 15 November 2013 - 12:14 PM

Sooo much stuff to read and understand about other folks struggles while on C! Alcohol, STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! Had no idea how the mixture was affecting me! I have almost ruined relationships with crazy rants, etc. not to mention what I have probably done to my own health and well being. Could go on and on, but it's just too much for now! Just a word to the wise or not so wise! STAY off the alcohol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably not making a lot of sense, but TMI going on in my head! Info overload along with guilt, etc!!!! Hoping to help anyone in any way in the struggle!!! Clara :>)

Clara. I never drank to excess before Cymbalta. This drug enabled me to want to get stupid drunk, and  fast.  Be careful.

Clara don't feel guilty about a side effect of the medication. It's not something you could choose. But now you know.

Nattsie. For me, once I started drinking I didn't know when (or how) to stop. I was never like that before Cymbalta, and I am not like that now. It was unique to the Cymbalta. It's spooky.

The alcohol thing and Cymbalta was kind of a wild card.  The brochure cautions to avoid alcohol (and perhaps this is just me), but I was shocked by how easily I could get carried away. Better now, though. Whew!

I'm a little late to this discussion, but I just noticed this, and thought I'd share an article I found early on in my withdrawal .... I was researching what supplements I needed, and had googled each of my cravings .... Here's what I found out about my sugar cravings ....
