I'm new here and posted in another area about this.

Has anyone had success with starting a replacement SSRI or SRNI while you're weaning?

So far I'm frequently getting zapped and experience dizziness, fog, agitation, restlessness and depression...

My concern is that once Thursday comes around and I stop Cymbalta, does the HELL begin?

Thanks,

IBS

IBS, I know it is a common procedure around here by the pdocs. I weanin/went on ssri and snri several times over the years. As they slow down the old med they begin the new one. This takes around 4 or 5 weeks depending on what you are swapping for what. I never had any issues with hte swaps. Maybe I was just lucky.
