In some ways I feel like I have enough restless energy to run a marathon but I can also sit and watch tv at the same time.  Is this hypomania?

Hypomania also includes talkativeness and excessive confidence. I would say probably a form of restless leg. What I like to call restless body. Usually it is transient but if it continues you might try 100 mg of magnesium x day. It should help.

I take 250 mg of magnesium in the morning...should I take more than that?

The magnesium helped me a lot with the muscle twitches and restless leg stuff I had, DTG.....my optimum dose turned out to be 750 mg in the a.m. and again at bedtime.....BUT I started at 100 mg like FH suggests....I first used Epsom salt hot baths...which is magnesium ...gets into the muscles transdermally...that seemed to work so well, I decided to try increasing the chelated magnesium supplements.....and I cut back on the Epsom baths...because for some odd chemical reaction reason the stuff turned my bathtub a deep orange and left a thick coating that I finally had to scrub off with Brillo pads.....

Ain't it amazing the stuff ya can learn here?

DTG, normally 250 would be enough for someone with anxiety but I have noticed a lot of us going through the withdrawal had to take higher doses. Just work your way up and see what happens. You will know if you are getting too much if you get diarrhea and upset stomach.

Oh, yes, thanks for that point, FH.....I only stayed at that level of magnesium dose for about a week or 10 days.....then those particular effects faded...and I cut back down to 150 or so....which I still take....have no idea if it's still helping anything, but I keep taking a small groups of supps "for old times sake" ;-)

Well.....I am not talking excessively and definitely don't have much confidence at all.  How long does this revv'd up feeling last?

For me and most it lasts around 4 to 12 weeks after you finish coming off the Cymbalta.
