Had a scary incident, now thinking of getting off Cymbalta. I came for advice, support and friendship.

  • Dizzy
  • lightheaded ...
  • internal wavering feeling as if on a gentle rocking boat but not soothing,
  • nausea as if on curvy hilly road going too fast,
  • ringing in the ears (but that's a norm for me from my days of 9-12 Advil gels a day used for pain before diagnosed and really medicated)
  • Lethargic
  • Angry
  • Sad
  • Depressed (wah wah wah)
  • Don't want to deal with people out in the "world" - this sadly includes my roommate aunt.
  • Today is Friday, the dreaded weekend that'll be two days of "oh let me do that" "oh are you any better" "oh I'm soooo sorry" as she limps away with her own osteo pain at 71 and me at 61 feeling guilty cause I should be taking care of her.  But hey, she didn't plan for her old age, she'd have to work anyway, but still it's hard.  Hell, I didn't plan for my old age nor disability!
  • We all have a guilt gland, chuckle.  I need therapy, again, about my aunt.
  • Crying
  • don't want to walk the dog
  • My spoons, where are my spoons?

Thanks for listening!

    I want my life back!

Yep, you get a good, solid A+ day for your 4 symptom report ! You're right on track, and yep, we all know just what you're describing ... either cuz we've been there, or because we are there right now ...

I've been having a pretty good run of days here recently (just saying that has likely now jinxed me), so I've got quite a few extra "spoons" saved up .... I'm sending "cyber-sending" them to you now.... use them as needed !

And keep that sense of humor ... it's a lifeline during this process!

Well, I went back to bed ... but didn't get back to my painting.  Was a rough day. UGH when will it be over?!?!?

Hi. "When will it be over?!?!" Not soon enough! The best we can do right now is cherish the little improvements, the nuggets. I used to anticipate a crisp, final scene, frozen-frame finish with a satisfying 'ding!' like when a download is complete. Didn't happen. But little improvements came along every few days, and as the weeks and months went by I just stopped thinking about it-- I just noticed that I had come a long way.

Take care.
