I have been taking 30mg of cymbalta every other day for about a week and am doing really well. I was told to go 2 days without taking. Today I am trying to go two days without it and am some symtoms. I have only been on this for a few months. Since I haven't been on this long will my withdrawal be as bad as some people?
Need opinions and thoughts

Based on what I have read from this forum and another that I participate, time on the medication doesn't correlate to the withdrawal. :( But, there is a good chance you will not have the issues some of us report, supposedly we are a minority of people that have major withdrawal issues. Try to wean down to the smalles dose possible before you quit.
Take the best of care of yourself. I wish you a quick and easy withdrawal.....Houdi

Hi!
I wanted to add my 2 cents , since I'm up at this hour...THANKS CYMBALTA!!
When I read some of the posts on here I thought, man I don't feel any withdrawl! Then day 4 it hit me, the sweating was getting worse, ( or worst , I never know which one) and the brain zaps as my friend Violet calls them, and now I can't sleep. SO I guess I'm in withdrawl...but I really really really feel better! I have been doing so much more around my home and with my kids. I make a "to do " list and actually get it done. So keep the faith , drink alot of water, be good to yourself and laugh alot cause in the end what else is there?
Good luck!!
