I pm'd back and forth a few times with him when he first came to the forum. He seems legit. I did find his FB page and pm'd him there, but he says he didn't get the pm. FB wants to charge you one whole dollar (Why) to friend request someone. What? Why? I dunno!!! I did that and befriended the equuswoman 6 months or so ago. Not doing it for this dude! If he wants to help folks he needs to wait til he is stable off the crap and go for it! I'll help, with whatever little brain I have left ! Love hugs and prayers all!!!

Well I take back my doubts on Chris Hennessy (posts) I did find his facebook page under his upcoiming documentary on Hannah. I read his posts for over an hour and he reads very legit-- he wrote too about withdrawing from Cymbalta on his posts . Chris if you visit here my apology to you and I do wish you a post- Cymbalta recovery real soon

Of course, Zappa! And there is no need to ask me ... this forum belongs to us all, I have no special "rank" or "say" here ... I'm just one of us "old-timers" ...
I'm so sorry you're having a rough go of it ... it seems a number of us are experiencing likewise these days ... and so a thread devoted to this is a perfect idea ... I've been spending as much time as I can spare (from my two jobs) researching this whole "relapse" issue ... the post-Cymbalta discontinuation return of depression and anxiety ... all I've found so far is that it's not uncommon ... and that there's split of opinion / research on it ... some say it's the "old" depression/anxiety returning and that we should go back on the meds ... others say that it's actually due primarily to the damage done to us by being on the drugs ... and especially coming off too fast / cold turkey ... thus, it's a "new" issue ...
I've post a few items ... but haven't found anything truly of good quality ... it seems we're, yet again, the "first line" ... of experiencing/reporting it ... and trying to find our way through it and get to a point where we have some wisdom to share with others ...
Yes, go right ahead and start that thread ... I am so glad that you're still with us here ...

The medications that worked for me pre Cymbalta won't work now .
I am one of the long term users of Cymbalta who thought I could go off cold turkey ..... Almost 8 / 10 years on 60 mgs I stopped in a week . That was November 2013 .
I went through hell for 8 months ( you can look back to when I first joined this forum ) mostly physical s/e's & then it hit me like a sledge hammer , & I put up with it for 6 weeks before it beat me & I was admitted to hospital . Four months later & I am still trying to get well again . I couldn't live like this permanently !!!!!!!!!.
My medication @ the moment & is helping just a tiny bit is : 70 mg Nortriptaline , 5 mgs Lexapro , 71/2 mgs Valium twice a day & 5 mgs @ night.
I was taking 71/2 mg of Imovane ( sleeping tablet ) before bed , but have cut that down to 1/2 tablet .
I am still nowhere the woman I was .... Would love to hear from others going through the same horror as me .

Well actually I had a long post written just now --asking lots of questions and 'Ding' went off in my brain with pending litigation for many on here perhaps not a good idea. Our history related to before Cymb- the direction Drs led us to believe and do etc --Soo let's hold on this topic thread for now. sorry if I disappoint any of you . just maybe my sensible brain is coiming back to reality
