deleterious effects

Hey, FH!

Played bridge this afternoon and at least was better than last week!

Recorded the Outdoor Classic hockey game between Blackhawks and Blues (played at Busch Stadium).  Started at 1 so am watching tonite!

effects constant

Sorry, I've been absent but I am doing a little better Liz.  I got some rest during the days I had off with my husband and kids.  Some days I felt like I had too much rest. I had to battle a horrible UTI along with a Yeast infection at the start of the weekend. Of course the weekend where there are no doctors at my clinic. But I did speak with the doc on call and he was sweet enough to call me in something. I am concerned as I saw some blood when I urinated last night so I have a note in to my doc to ask if I should do U/A to be safe. Otherwise as for CWS I am on par with recovery and have not had any current setbacks.

How is everyone else doing?

Oh, and Liz, I know he just got back from a long trip, but my daughter wants Max to come this weekend for her birthday and go to the skating rink with us. :D

Constant caring

Hey Raven, it is good to hear from you. Each rime you do well it will get better and longer and each bad time will not be as bad and be a little shorter. Victory goes to the patient.

empty mind

That's what I felt like just a few minutes ago. Had a mini panic/anxiety attack about whether or not I had previously done something. I had it documented in one place but not another and it just literally freaked me out. But I'm better now.

Liz, I am so excited for Max to be coming back this weekend.  Our pilot will pick him up on Friday afternoon around 4:00 . This should put him arriving just in time for us to get home to greet him. The pilot will be sure to have hamburgers waiting for him. I have his cigars and brand ready and believe I will share the brandy with him this time. I have bubble bath waiting along with his house coat and his trench coat and hat we got him last year. :D :P

Mind you

That moment has passed, short lived, but so nerve wracking.

That is so sweet of you Raven to take Max ice skating, a first for him. And on his favorite day, Friday! Liz says that he is besides himself with all this fun coming his way.

We have not seen Liz today, it must take all of her time to calm him down. For sure she will serve him Brandy tonite so she can rest a bit.

Hey all!

Yesterday was massage and today mani-pedi...  keeping busy w/nothing important!

Yes, Max is driving me nuts so I gave him a small glass of brandy a little bit ago and he has calmed down considerably

I will have him ready by 4 on Friday since I will be home.

Thanks for having him, Raven! :D (I haven't told him about the go carts since I think it would send him over the top - that can be your surprise!

P.S.  Just picturing Max in a house coat is a hoot!!

what now?

Sorry, Gail, but I absolutely love winter. I used to live in a house where we were on a dead end circle. In the winter I would go out in that circle wearing a big sweater at night and just let the cold air rush through my hair. I would close my eyes and imagine I was in the Rock Mountains where peace knows no boundaries. :)

now then

"In the winter I would go out in that circle wearing a big sweater at night and just let the cold air rush through my hair."

That's not winter that is fall. lol Winter here is 8F, 20 mph winds, wind chill -15F, one inch of snow on the ground and cloudy and I am not doing that in a sweater. You are right Gail, I hate winter and my wife. with all her back pain, hates it even worse.

LOL! I know that what we call Winter down here isn't really what would be considered Winter. So, I can imagine it's more harsh where you guys are. I am sorry that it causes you so much grief. :(

Prophetic phrases

You got me puzzled Raven with a big sweater, make it two sweaters plus a really warm winter jacket, gloves, darn winter boots, head covered, all covered.

Then you go out to your car, the wipers and the arms of the wipers are stuck and glued to the windshield. You scrape and you swear and you scrape again then the scraper breaks then you swear again.

So you need another one, you try to open the trunk and it doesn't open because of the ice. So you swear again, start the car with full heat to unjam it all and you see the gas tank gauge going down just looking at it.

Do I ever hate winter. Love automn though with a big sweater. I am moving in with Liz!

Up down

I am the first one to insist about generics, never switch from a generic to another.

I found out that mine was switched, 14 days later. I can't describe what I went through.
Back to the original one.

Today I took my last Cymbalta (I hope).  I'll surely stick around to keep you posted on how it goes.

We're due today for an inch of ice on top of two inches of snow.  Time to hunker down for the inevitable power outage.

Hello, all. Sorry, I haven't written but it's been a busy weekend. We got iced in over the weekend. I managed to get Max to the house safely and boy what a weekend. You should have seen him sledding down the hill in the clothes baskets with the kids. I trust he made it home safely Liz.
