Welcome to my pity party!

I now have to take blood pressure medication because of the disconinuation syndrome.

So, the doc reams me out and tells me it was dumb to think I could come off AD. To my credit, I argued with him, something I never would have done before! So, my mind is clearer these days! ha!

Good for you and the dr sucks. ALL psychiatrists should work to eliminate or minimize the use of psychiatric medicine. If a dr will not consider that then I find another dr. So far most have considered that a worthwhile cause.

 

I hope they put you on clonidine for the bp.

Oh yeah, when I asked him what BP med he was going to prescribe, he said: "don't worry about it, stop thinking so much." It took the hour drive home for me to calm down! needless to say, I am thinking about another doc.
