As I taper down on Cymbalta, I've discovered it's easier to explain away the discontinuation symptoms as "old age"!

For example:

Foggy mind.....just getting forgetful
Hot flashes.....menopause
Upset tummy- reflux associated with age
Fatigue....just getting old.
Headaches....allergies

Lucky for me, this are mild symptoms and I am now down to 12 mg.

Oh, and those aches and pains from nerves waking up after AD anesthesia? Why that's just arthritis!
