OMG! I also have just watched the preview for this movie. When that little girl said all my parent's do when they are together is fight, I could hear my little girl's voice. I have got to see this movie.

JaiVon, I came late to this discussion, but I've read it all and I truly hope that you and your wife can work together through her withdrawal.  My husband also has a tough job helping me - not only with the withdrawal, but also with the anxiety (new since cymbalta) and the depression (lifelong).  What I want you to hear is that your love matters SO MUCH to your wife, even when she may not be able to communicate that or show love in return.

I hope that your wife decides to join this forum, because it really is such an amazing support system (as you've seen!) :)

Emily

Read so many painful stories on here and offering others support while trying to heal myself from cymbalta and other antidepressents.

JaiVon, watch the movie again.  It's more powerful the second, third, and forth time.  I truly believe you will both get something more out of it the next time around, especially now....

How's your wife doing today, JaiVon? Any success in encouraging her to read / post here ?

Yes, JaiVon - Very concerned for your wife's situation. It is obvious that she like the rest of us at the beginning doesn't think she has a problem. I listened to the movie on my headphones yesterday because I couldn't watch it, but even listening to it is powerful.

fishinghat, in post #16 you shared a link along with other references. The link isn't complete and not taking me where I would expect. Can you copy/paste the link again please?

Try this. For some reason it didn't copy the full URL the first time.  Sorry about that.
