Hello to all. I'm 13 days Cymbalta free. So happy to say that! I have joint pain and a return of fibromyalgia symptoms, but I also have a different attitude than I did years ago when I went on the devil(Cymbalta). I'm doing as many comfort measures as possible and taking supplements in hopes that eventually something will help with the arthritis and fibro. Until then I will get my exercise, although mild, and continue to learn about wellness, eating nutritious foods and coping. I have other prescription meds that I want to discontinue and hope none are as loaded with withdrawal effects as Cymbalta has been. The folks on here have helped so much. Just knowing others are going through the same or worse and coming out on the other side is a comfort. It helps me know that this CAN be done. Happy first day of summer to all. Be well.

Isn't life after cymbalta wonderful?
Let yourself settle into being cymbalta-free for awhile before you start getting off any of the other meds..... Let your body and brain have the time they need to get truly stabilized......and as TM says, get off just one med at a time.
Please check back here occasionally, it's good for all those who'll come after you to hear a success story from one of our "alumni". ;-)
