If you have had the pain before at specific times during medication, then that is as far as you need to think - a side effect. You have had your EKG which would for sure show up and immediate issues in that area.

Reactions to stress are often delayed. Rarely will it happen immediately. For example, I had a meeting with a p-doc on monday who refused to listen to me, and caused me so much stress, but I didn't feel the effects fully until wednesday.

Right there with you man.

Stress has been the bane of my life for the last 2 years what with all the immigration sh*t on top of my symptoms.

• Meditate (learn if you don't already know). Headspace is very good as previously mentioned - I think by Gail?

• And find some nice spiritually-encouraging books to read. I have just read "The Children that Time Forgot". Absolutely amazing evidence of after-life and reincarnation.

• Finally, please follow Claire Weekes work as I suggested. It is like she is speaking directly to you. When you listen you will be saying "yes thats me, thats exactly what I've got!"

Good man - you won't be disappointed with Claire.

I'm sure 'hat will be along later, but remembering that it wasn't so long ago that he was in the middle of all this (and worse if we can imagine it!), so I am glad the guy has a bit of downtime from the forum.

The last thing we want is to loose our resident knowledge-base due to forum stress :)

What is it you want to know AJ?

By the way, long periods of crying can cause rib pain. (Actually the pain is in the muscles between the ribs).

The main word is "possibly". When someone switches from an one antidepressant to another there are several things that can happen.

The new antidepressant does not work (I had that happen with Prozac)

Instead of switching to a new antidepressant they switch to one they have taken before that was helpful. Whether or not it helps after the switch is a flip of the coin. Even though there is a history of it helping before it may not work when you switch back to it later.

The new antidepressant may kick in after a few days and help OR it may take the usual 4 to 6 weeks for it to kick in.

Drs have long wondered about this inconsistency but as of this time they have no idea why the results vary so much.

That is a normal part of anxiety. High adrenaline increases the release of cortisol which causes increased hunger, especially for carbs.

Exactly what 'Hat said to me a while back. When there is conflict between body and brain, it is for sure the brain chemistry making attempts to sort things out. Under normal conditions the two are in harmony.

The best I can suggest is to jump in bed, out with the lights and try some guided meditation. My favourite on YouTube is Jason Stevenson. I have got over 100 guided meditations on my phone and I pick a different one each night depending on my mood. It takes a while to get used to, but meditation really does help you relax.

I would also suggest CBD Oil as well. Far better for you than medicine. Think it is currently legal in 50 of your 52. Is a bit expensive, but I swear by it. I did a write up on it here on the forum.. I'll dig it out hang on...

"c******* is a very safe herb which has never caused an overdose death. SSRI's can cause many severe side effects and have some major interractions with other drugs and foods. However there should be no major interractions or contra-indications in using c******* and and SSRI."

PLEASE NOTE - this is from an external link - IUN didn't say this!!

First one I clicked, but there are always going to be mixed opinions. As with everything, start with a low dose and work from there. I take between 5-8 drops of 15%. Been using it for around 6 weeks and not had any issues. Makes me nice and relaxed.

Follow my guide and you will be ok. If you do go ahead, make sure you buy from someone reputable. I managed to find a seller on eBay. Messaged them, had a chat, seemed the real deal. And it was. Very good quality stuff. 10ml of 15% for £18 is a good price.

No - this is hemp. Different stuff.

Amazon have banned selling CBD on their site.

This is the stuff that I use - but alas in the UK...

Hemp oil is similar stuff, and has good reviews, but CBD is a different compound.

Never tried hemp so cannot comment on that.

Strange as my ears have also gone crazy with ringing this evening too... very annoying and keeping me awake.

You may be setting yourself up if you keep thinking of 4pm each day - you are creating the anxiety through fear... unless it is a medicinal anomaly?
