The thing you need to understand here is that what you are feeling is normal.... but exacerbated by your health concerns. I still get them from time to time. In fact in the middle of one right now. Loss of energy completely and swimming head. No idea why.

But all these movements with meds are likely to trigger responses in your worry centres. You have a combination of both physical and mental contribution to these situations. It is better just to see it as it is, and think to yourself "this is going to be the way for a bit". Putting undue stress on yourself for feeling this way will only make it worse. And in knowing you fairly well, I know this would lead to unfounded worries in the way that ever decreasing spiral hits us all sometimes.

Accept what is likely, but dismiss the rest as a symptom of the first.

Eckhart Tolle just did a upload on YouTube about overthinking "Is it THAT bad". I don't have the link to hand, but that guy speaks a lot of sense.

Truer words never spoken. I can see now that my anxiety peaked on Saturday because I was worried about reinstating Adderall and then it just stuck around couple that with the withdrawl and my health anxiety and you have a cocktail of emotions and chemicals gonna need to find ways to relax

Have you read the section in the ebook on controlling heartburn?  I would suggest staying away from PPI and acid reducers as they can effect the rate of absorption of many meds. Even antacids should be taken at least 2 hours away from any prescription meds.

Been waking up with anxiety last few days. I have read cortisol is highest in the morning. Really struggling i have read this can be normal for a few weeks as I withdraw. I am trying to keep my eye on that if I feel this way in 3 weeks maybe it will be time to talk to doc about meds to help I think. Once this is done I will be on Zoloft 50mg thats it

Par for the course in withdrawal - otherwise we would have anything called a withdrawal!

As Hat said, be careful about what you take and when. There are a number of things that can help - all covered in the eBook - but again, most should be taken a good 2 hours apart from your AD.

Any kind of digestive issues are very common when weaning off Zoloft.

Friday was my last dose of Lamictal. Today and yesterday have been dizzy lightheaded and fatigued but getting through it so the final jump was from 75 mg to nothing. Anxiety comes and goes trying to relax and rest as much as possible.

How long can you have heartburn before you should worry about it. I have had it off and on this last week not sure if I should contact dr or anything have had to take mylanta  a few days and tums as well here and there. Not sure what to do at this point should I give it more time and see what I feel like in a few weeks will I be ok to do that ?

A Dr. will probably put you on Prilosec OTC (Omeprozole) or some similar PPI or acid reducer for 4 weeks or more but most of those medications effect the absorption of your other meds. There is a lot of things you can do to control heartburn at home. Did you read that section in the ebook?

Heartburn is not a typical sign of colon cancer. It can lead to a stomach ulcer over the long-term however. Colon cancer usually includes some blood in the stool.

Obviously it depends on the severity of the heartburn. A few days won't do it, but in my opinion any heartburn that lasts more than 2 weeks or causes you to be unable to sleep, work or causes significant pain should be addressed as soon as possible. I am going to check something and be right back.

This is the guidance from the Mayo Clinic as to when to see a dr about heartburn.

Make an appointment with your doctor if:

  • Heartburn occurs more than twice a week
  • Symptoms persist despite use of over-the-counter medications
  • You have difficulty swallowing
  • You have persistent nausea or vomiting
  • You have weight loss because of poor appetite or difficulty eating

This is where I struggle its not constant and its worse when I focus on it. Its like burning in my throat and esophogus. I know I had some acid back up into my throat a few days ago cause I over ate. I am dizzy today as well what if I have internal bleeding. or anemia

I totally agree with the nurse. Drs almost always prescribe 4 to 6 weeks of Prilosec OTC. It can take 2 weeks or more for it to begin to have an effect.

I am so exhausted I feel dizzy and like I am gonna just keel over. I believe its anxiety and withdrawals it hasnt been a full week off Lamictal yet even. The other part of my brain wants me to believe i am in danger and something is wrong. Trying not to freak out to much I hope this is just withdrawal
